Christmas in July Quilt

I call this one “Christmas in July” even though I did the blocks in June. I just had to show that I’ve been working on something! I was in Minnesota for 10 days in June, so progress on projects slowed down a little. The pattern is so simple. It’s from the October 10, 2011 Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting. They call theirs “Christmas Grinch” because of the Dr. custodia iphone 6 home made Seuss fabric that was used. I used 10 different Christmas fabrics, if you click on the picture you can see them better. I’ve added the borders, quilted it and am securing the binding at this time. custodia iphone 7 selfie The finished quilt is 72″ x 86″, so it fits a double bed nicely, and a twin bed generously. custodia apple iphone se originale I made a couple of coordinating pillow cases to go with the quilt.

Pam, the Christmas Quilt is so neat, and country looking! I really like it! Was starting to wonder where you were!…..

Thank you, thank you! I’ve actually been very busy and have quilted 4 other quilts since I’ve been back but I haven’t photographed them. I’ll wait until the binding is on. AND I’m getting ready for the 2nd Annual Mystery Quilt workshop. Check it out under “classes.”
