Sue is getting her game on!

Today was a play day with my friend, Dee. custodia bici iphone 6 She has a Gammill long-arm quilting machine that she so graciously lets me use. I loaded up Sue (it’s a big one, measuring 88X100) and after an hour and a half of pinning, winding bobbins, securing batting and getting everything situated, I was ready to start quilting. Here it is with the top row of basting in place. I did an all over pantogram pattern, as I don’t feel too confident of my free motion skills at this time. I think I would have to practice a whole lot more–probably with a pencil and paper for quite a long time. After nearly five hours, I was down to the last row. custodia iphone x spek Color me HAPPY!!! When you do a pantograph, you stand behind the machine. custodia iphone 6s power bank It is a surprise at the end of every row to see how you’ve done, because you must look at the laser light while you move the machine, rather than look at the stitching like you do when you do free-motion quilting from the front of the machine. It is so much fun, and the results are so awesome. I can’t wait to do another. While I was working on quilting, Dee was assembling blocks for a wonderful memory quilt that she is working on. I love the pinwheel in the center of the 4 Roman stripes blocks. iphone 7 plus custodia apple There will be a narrow dark blue border all around the quilt, followed by a wider medium blue border.
